Parent Support Group
The Open Arms Parent Support Group is a safe space for parents of LGBTQ+ individuals to share experiences, ask questions, and learn from each other. Led by Amy Weir, a licensed and experienced therapist, the group is aimed at helping parents deal with their emotions as they navigate new territory. Feel free to contact Amy with any questions you might have.
The Parent Support Group meets the third Wednesday of each month from 7-8:30 pm at the Community Youth in Action building in Idaho Falls (574 4th St.).
RAINBOW YOUTH
The Open Arms Rainbow Youth Group is a group for LGBTQ+ youth and allies ages 14-18. Our emphasis is sharing positive, affirming messages, and providing a safe space where LGBTQ+ young people can find belonging. Past activities have included crafts and pizza, a haunted house visit, and a s'mores night. Mostly we just have a ton of fun! If you're looking for a great group of rainbow friends, this is the place.

Sunday Support Group
The Open Arms Sunday Support Group strives to help individuals and families navigate the intersection of faith and affirmation. Everyone is welcome. Discussion topics include mental health, spiritual struggles, relationships, family dynamics, and community resources. Enjoy social connections and snacks as we support one another with compassion, understanding, and encouragement.
The Sunday Support Group is held once a month on Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm, but location and dates vary. For more information, contact us or follow us.
